Surprised Jerry with a birthday cake when he and colleen came over to my place for Mahjong. He was caught off guard and I can tell that he was really happy. Little effort paid off! Can't wait for their precious son to be born this December! Happy birthday again, Jerry! ((:
River-Island inspired trousers in teal. Available at SWV.
Cannot express how much I love this design and also kept them in all colours! Wore out to the family gathering yesterday. Great comfy material, formal or casual depending on what you pair it with. Versatile eh!
Cooked for Drool a few times at home. Not too bad attempts! Qualified housewife already. Haha..
Sweet and sour prawns, steamed fish, chicken drumstick and tofu soup, seafood marinara linguine. You know it's tasty when your hubby ask for a second bowl of rice. (: Shall try out thai food next!
Burp! sent us a voucher so we went there for dinner before the magnificent Man U vs Arsenal match on Saturday. Food was so-so. Thought the seafood soup was a little too salty. Then, we travelled all the way to the west to watch the big match with the cousins. Time spent with family and incredible scoreline, well worth it.

We managed to make it to supper during one of the sessions. Like old times, love the maggi goreng at Spize! Crazy people. Can't get enough of their nonsense! =D

Yet another year.

My birthday this year, all week long! Hee..
It started off with dinner at my place with beloved family. See pictures from sis's blog here. It was our house warming as well. Thank you dear family for showering Drool and myself with gifts and lotsa love. (:
Drool brought me to Brussel Sprouts on my birthday eve. The ambience and food there was fabulous. The pots of mussels reminded us of our honeymoon in Paris. What fond memories!
We had beer, escargos, beef skewers and mussels of course. Delicious, i tell you! We will definitely be back for more!
Free flow fries but we were too full by the end of the meal.
On the actual day, we went to Jerry's grill for dinner. A good dining place near our place, affordable too.
Their speciality is the buffalo wings which we didn't have room to stuff so next time round i guess. I enjoy every dinner date with Drool even till now. And for all the effort he puts into me, I can only say, I'm extremely blessed. (:
Then, bitches came over my place for a mini celebration. Love all of them for taking time off and thank you for all the delicious food that night. Pizzas, chewi kuehs, pies, sushis, otah and chicken wings. The weight I've been putting on, gosh!
Clubbed thrice. Thank you, xin, pl, david, dailing, daniel, adeline, gan, wr and jas! Mad hangover after that but it was so damn fun! (: Drool's colleagues happened to be there on one of the nights too. Crazy engineers!
Another year older, with a new home, new life, new beginning. I'm still in the learning process though. And it's going well so far! (:

I’m back!
..from 2 tiring months of house stuff and SWV photoshoot during the weekends. Come to think about it, I hardly even have time to switch on the computer when I’m home. Of course the lazy bug does contribute a bit. Teehee.
Good news on my side, I’ve collected keys for my new place already! I’ve been Ms Fussy for the past months because I can’t seem to agree on the design. I thank Drool for compromising and giving in to me. And this week, we’ve finally x 10 confirmed everything and all set to start work! Last Saturday, Jason brought us to balestier and we bought all the lightings!
Gotten:
15 downlights
2 chandeliers for dining and MBR
2 burger lights for bomb shelter & service yard
4 spotlights for the loos
1 artsy light for the multimedia room
3 other lights for the kitchen and MJ room
Jason will go back and get the T5s when the false ceiling for cove lights is ready. Like excited or what! Come Monday, we will be going to get our furnitures, choose the homo tiles for the living room, tiles for overlaying in the loos and wallpaper! If there’s time, I hope to choose the sinks as well. Then, all the renovation can kickstart and we can begin hacking all the ugly tiles and sinks provided by HDB. Mad happy. (:

Been in poor health for the past months and got referred to Mount Alvernia for a check up. Freaked me out totally and I was crying over the phone when I spoke to Mum and Drool. :(
It was suggested that I do the operation soon. Minor one, not to worry. Argh, scared!
A chio phone cover I bought to pamper myself.
Definitely worth the 75 bucks I paid!
Some movies which we watched recently was Thor and the show by Donnie Yen. Not sure of the name coz the tickets foc.
at Vivo city on a tiring Tuesday. Concluded that the DY's show is not memorable at all.
and our 1st morning movie ever. We had bfast at Ya Kun and I was happy because the day seemed longer. Thor was so-so. Although his bod and Natalie Portman are worth drooling over.
Tomorrow is the time to vote. And I heard cries for a change and whatsoever alternative voice in the parliment. But I'll vote for peace and prosperity instead. As much as I do disagree with certain issues and policies in place(and honestly, my vote did sway to the other party in the beginning), we without a doubt have good and capable people leading the country.
To each his own, I've made up my mind and I believe it's a wise one. (:

A good break

Firstly, thank you for the massive support at SWV this week! We're expecting this huge supply of gorgeous pieces coming in soon and we can't wait. Also, like I've mentioned before, we're in the midst of getting something together. I certainly hope to have the chance to meet our customers very soon. Hee.
The week started off with lotsa partying with my chummies. Mj session at Xin's, drinking at Cabana and weekly gathering at Zouk.
Crazy times, love all of them!
Drool and I went for a 2d1n mini getaway with a well-deserving spa treat. 3 satisfying hours of scrub, massage and jacuzzi at a good price.
And at the same time, we counted down to our anniversary with booze by the poolside talking all night long about nothing but BBgirl. Drool made me cry so hard when he told me to be mentally prepared for the day when BB has to go. I just feel like hitting him for saying that because BB is still young and she still has many years with us. It's impossible but I pray that the day will never arrive because just typing this alone bring tears to my eyes. *hugs Abby*
Argh, hate Drool.
Although the food over there was not fantastic overall, I still enjoyed the steamboat and bbq buffet quite a bit. We whacked all the seafood available to make up for ridiculous amount we paid.
Met Jason, our ID for a 2nd discussion for our home. I'm pretty satisfied so far but I'll continue to push him further so he will do a fabulous work for our house. Ha! I've read that they gonna release the keys to my block starting 24th March! OMG like finally! Can't wait x3!!

Box and Sticks.

Been a very busy week for me. Choking from the pile of workload everyday. Although so, I had a fabulous weekend! Drool was trying to make up for lost time as he was cooped up with the bike rally thingy. He brought me for a movie(Black Swan!) and supper at Aliwal street on Friday night.
Box and sticks is gonna be my new favourite hangout now. Imagine sashimi and sake at midnight! And we also chatted with the very friendly boss, Karen, who is Drool's friend.
Not to mention the food was great! We ordered pork belly, beef, makis, sashimi, chawamushi and orange sorbet for dessert. Not a single dish let us down, brillantly intrigued our taste buds in fact! My personal favourite is the beef, medium rare, to my delight!
Love the place and just chilling out with Drool was what made me really happy that night. (:

Attended a wedding at Orchard hotel last night with the usual peeps. Headed over to Double O for more drinks which explains the huge hangover I'm feeling even till now.
That's Jason, our interior designer! He has many interesting ideas for our crib so I can't wait to see the 1st draft on Tuesday! I've been closely following the facebook page for my home. Checking out on the latest development and bargains fellow neighbours have found. Haha, goddamn excited about having my very own place.
Had dinner with sis at Shin Minori at UE square. The boss treated, Yay! Glad she enjoyed the food there. Wore a piece from the coming Runway Delight collection. Love the pleated details!(pictures on her blog!) Don't forget to drop by SWV on Tuesday! I don't mind the bursting closet with all the fabulous pieces coming in. We're in the midst of planning something. I hope we're able to get it all together!
Shall end the post with an adorable picture of BBgirl who just had fish and carrot pasta for dinner. Hee, my spoilt dog.

BB turns 4 + daily musings

Furball is turning 4 this Saturday! Time flies, she was only 2 when we first adopted her. (:
To celebrate her birthday week, I ordered tingkat from Pet Safari! She gets to eat a different meal everyday! You dunno how excited she gets whenever I grab one of the boxes from the fridge. She hops and runs around in circle!
I guess this is the best birthday present for her, knowing how much she loves to eat. My greedy girl! My only worry now is she will not want to eat her staple food next week. :(
Nonetheless, Happy Birthday, BBgirl! (:
Got myself and Drool the Iphone charger Sis recommended! Polka dots & paw prints! Hope it solves the problem when my phone goes low batt when I'm out.
Visited little Ashlynn at Gleneagles on Sunday. The new princess of our group! ((:
Isn't she super adorable? And no, Drool and myself are not planning for one anytime soon.
Celebrated my besties, Xin and Pl's birthday at Zouk. After countless glasses of beer, wines, martinis, jaggers, shooters, malibus, volkas, off they went to the ladies to puke within the first hour. Haha, Hope the two had a great time with the gang that night! (:
Delicious CNY walnut cake from Aunt Poh Leng. Maybe I can also order for the families next year.
Steamboat and MJ session at Xin's place. Have been down on luck at the MJ table. Shrugs! Just last Sunday, I lost $180! Shall see if I can win some back tmr. Drool's going for night cycling with his colleagues, so I'm free for some bitching and MJ time with the khakis! Yeah!
Had hums and favourite suanla soup for dinner earlier on, thanks to Drool! After a satifying meal, I think I'll have a very good night sleep later. ((:

Valentine's Day at 1-Altitude.

It was a mad rush back home after work to change for the dinner, sweetly planned by Drool a month before.
Drool arranged for the 2nd seating at 9pm. We were immediately ushered to the top floor when we reached. Boy, felt on top of the world when I was up looking at the breathtaking view at the 63rd storey.
Sipping wine with Drool and of course taking the chance to snap more pictures! Goddamn happy! (:
The very late dinner began at 930pm. We had cozy window seats with full view of MBS and its surroundings. Was darn famished by then. The atas menu for the night:
Personally enjoyed the oysters, foie gras, wagyu beef and the huge heart-shaped macaron. Yummy max! Drool drank the wine so fast that he was feeling too nauseous towards the end to savour the last few dishes. Too bad!
Despite having a huge crowd, the service was brillant throughout. The sweet dessert ended off the perfect night.
I made a trip down to Ion myself to get him this FP tee(he wore it today already) and a card. I think he likes the card more than the tee. I didn't have to pause and think of what to pen down in it. The words just came through naturally. Drool laughed so hard while reading it. (:
Love Drool loads for all that he has planned yesterday. And next year's valentine's, we'll probably have candlelight at our very own nest, together with BBgirl. Hee, coming in March! ((:

Happy CNY! :D
Anyway, it's my first year giving away angbaos this year and I must say, it's quite fun lah. Haha!
Not to mention the quality time spent with family and friends. Love the steamboat and teppanyaki sessions although I'm regretting now looking at the number of kgs I've put on. Nonetheless, the new year has been great so far and hopefully it will be as smooth sailing for the rest of 2011! ((:
Will be back with my Valentine's day post! We're going to 1-Altitude! Woohoo!:D

The New Year.

I had a pretty good 2010.
Most significant change would be changing my salutation to MRS. -_-" HAHA. the photoshoot, hens night, wedding and honeymoon made this year an unforgettable one. I'm really blessed. (:
And my new year resolution? To save up money to buy chio furnitures for our new house. As much as I'm looking forward to getting our key, I'm also somewhat reluctant because I have to leave my comfort zone, away from the warm arms of mum & sis and the awesome Nex beside our house, SOB! :(
Anyway, this year's xmas was very eventful too. Sis blogged about our family's xmas party this year. It was SO fun, I tell you. I have such a sporting family(& hubby!), love them to bits! (:
Colleen & Jerry took much effort to organise a xmas party for the khakis at Hotel Re. Everyone who was invited turned up, happy max.
The suite was huge and the living area good enough for food and games.

Had Xian De Lai at Nex with Drool & Sis a few days back. My treat! They have a good variety of food and it was something new eating steamboat from the emperor's pot. I wanna try 'The Ship' soon. Shall ask Sis if she want to after the photoshoot tomorrow.

Had Xian De Lai at Nex with Drool & Sis a few days back. My treat! They have a good variety of food and it was something new eating steamboat from the emperor's pot. I wanna try 'The Ship' soon. Shall ask Sis if she want to after the photoshoot tomorrow.
